WEEK 2 – If you could host a talk show, who would be your first guest and why?
Gary Mac Herring, Owner – My first guest would be Richard Branson. I find his views on life and entrepreneurship to be fascinating. He is a unique individual that has been successful in ways that are often outside of the box.
Kevin Sandy, Inventory Manager & Customer Service Representative – First guest airing on Pro Talk...Tom Brady. Why? Because he was drafted in the 6th round. Nobody wanted him in the beginning of his pro career and now he's one of the best, if not the best in the NFL.
Carli Herring, Accounting Manager & Customer Service Representative – Since I’m a horrible cook, I would have to host a show like the Rachael Ray show. My first guest would be whomever Rachael suggests to teach me how to cook and how to enjoy cooking. I would just hope my guest would have lots, and I mean LOTS of patience with me. Home-girl here has no skills in the kitchen, even though my Mama is an excellent cook. She taught Home Economics for several years.
Dustin Keipper, Marketing Director – I’d probably choose Ellen Degeneres or Oprah Winfrey, so they can give me all the tips on becoming successful.
Brittany Taylor, Marketing Manager – My first guest(s) would have to be besties – Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake, because every single time they do a bit together I laugh hysterically. The duo is hilarious and I’m always down for laughing, it’s one of my favorite things to do.
Matthew Thornton, Customer Service Representative – Probably, Sir Patrick Stewart. Not only because I am a huge Star Trek fan but because he is awesome in every role he has played. But, for real, who wouldn’t want to meet Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Professor X.
Joana Gonzalez, Customer Service Representative – My talk shows first guest would have to be Oprah Winfrey. Also, known as the “Queen of Media.” She has been working it since she was 17 years old and made her first debut on a local radio station. She has built an empire for herself from the ground up and has shown dedication throughout the years. Not only is she inspiring but a great role model for young women around the world.
Trey Murawski, Marketing Coordinator – Probably, Steve Carell. My favorite show to binge watch is “The Office,” so naturally I’d want to interview the main character. I’m sure Steve would be funny as well as hospitable. He seems like he’d be a fun person to be around. I’d ask him about his role on “The Office” and find out how he became such a famous actor. And c’mon, everyone loves at least one movie starring Steve Carell.
Tammie Cox, Kitchen Production Manager – My guest would be Jesus. Why? Because, he has all the answers and I know one day he and I will meet. No talk show needed.
Josh Pruyn, Production Assistant – Quentin Tarantino. The man is a genius!
Wanda Mae Stanley, Kitchen Assistant – Day time TV actor Steve Burton [‘Jason Morgan’ on General Hospital]. Not only do I think he is one of the best actors, but he has the most beautiful baby blue eyes.
