Ice Cream Cloud Cones

Have you seen Cloud Cones yet? They’re popular in London ̶ videos and pictures of them are making-the-rounds on social media. If you’re still not sure what they are, here’s an article (and video) so you can find out!

The great news is that you don’t have to travel all the way to England to enjoy this treat. With a few supplies, you can easily make cloud cones in your own home.

Ice Cream Cloud Cone

Supplies:

Ice cream cones
Ice cream
Cotton candy machine
Cotton candy floss sugar
Toppings

Really, the key to taking these ice cream cones to the next level is the cotton candy. That’s what makes the “cloud” on the cloud cone. Personally, we love the Cotton Candy Express and Carnüs brand cotton candy machines, but any home-use machine will work. Add in your floss sugar, and you’re ready to get started!

Grab an ice cream cone, and spin the cotton candy onto the cone near the top. Then add a scoop (or two) of ice cream onto the cone. Serve with your favorite toppings. Don’t forget to get creative! Cereals, candies, syrups, cookies, popcorn -- there are no rules when you’re making these fun treats! If we were making these at Hawaiian Shaved Ice, you can bet we’d add some shaved ice and a few drizzles of our favorite flavored syrups on top!
